Draught-proofing (also known as weather sealing) is one of the most cost effective ways of improving comfort at home.

Older homes commonly contain a lot of gaps and cracks that let air leak in and out of the building.
Air leakage results in heat loss in winter and heat gain in summer. Up to 25% of your winter heat could be escaping via draughts! 
Air leaks can also let insects, dust and smoke enter your home.

The draught-proofing audit is a detailed on site assessment aimed at:

• identifying sources of draughts in your home that lead to heat loss in winter and heat gain in summer
• specifying solutions to address the draughts. Depending on your preference, low cost DIY options or long lasting professional techniques can be outlined
• your assessor will also note any simple and low-cost changes that will improve comfort, energy efficiency and lower energy bills

Any relevant rebates or incentives to help you with your upgrades will also be noted.

Depending on your preferences (e.g. for DIY or professional upgrades), priorities, budget and how long you plan to remain in the home, the assessment can be tailored to be as simple or as detailed as needed.
