 I'm an Upwey resident with a passion for sustainability and the environment. I want to see my kids grow up on a healthy planet and give them a healthy home.

I know how important a comfortable home is for your health (physical and mental) so have done a lot of research into home energy efficiency and put that into practice in my own home.

I come from a science background and previously worked for over 10 years in air quality monitoring. Over the years, I have become more and more concerned about climate change, and wanted to redirect my career to have a greater impact. I trained in home sustainability assessment and became accredited as a Residential Efficiency Scorecard assessor.

Previously I worked as an Energy Adviser for a community energy advice service. Through that job I got to meet many different people and support them to make their home more energy efficient and comfortable. Working as an Energy Adviser inspired me to set out on my own and Be Comfy was born...

I'm really looking forward to helping many more people to achieve a comfy, energy efficient home with low running costs.

Why choose me to advise on your home?

I am a qualified professional, trained to provide up to date, relevant home energy efficiency advice.  I hold a Bachelor of Science (Honours) and a Cert IV in Home Sustainability Assessment and Thermal Performance Assessment. 

As an Accredited Residential Efficiency Scorecard assessor, I have undergone further training and assessment by the Victorian Government and been approved to deliver the Residential Efficiency Scorecard to householders. As part of my accreditation, I am subject to regular audits and am provided with ongoing training and support. 

As a Scorecard assessor and as an approved provider under the Victorian Energy Upgrades program, I have committed to abide by a code of conduct in my work. You can read more about the codes here (Scorecard) and here (Victorian Energy Upgrades).

I hold Public Liability Insurance and Professional Indemnity Insurance for my work.
